Email from the Office of Research is copied from the cloud to Engmail, and is read twice daily by the AI Research Scanning VM. It mixes in data from Unit4, massages with the AI server, and adds it to the database.
Twice daily, the system scans all newly acquired PDFs and images (using OCR on AI server) in each user’s file, and scans for possible NRO concerns. The updated status is added to the NRO findings for the user record.
